Ancient silver Jital coin issued under the Delhi Sultanate (Northern India), dated broadly 1206–1526 AD — the period covering the Mamluk, Khalji, Tughlaq, and early Lodi dynasties. Jitals are small, thick silver coins (typically 3–4 g) showing Arabic or Persian inscriptions; some types carry stylised horsemen or other symbols on the reverse.
